We gathered on the banks of the Pond at Lee Roy Selmon’s on Wednesday, August 28.  We were joined by guest Sam Creasman.

We were honored by the Hartford Pond, who were impressed enough with the new Ganders recruited in Florida to offer $100 to our charities.  So they contributed $50 each to A Kid’s Place (the Florida Pond charity) and to FELT [Feeding Empty Little Tummies] (the Flamingo Puddle charity).  A big THANKS to the Connecticut Yankees!  What a wonderful group of Ganders who have demonstrated the Cardinal Principles of the Order:  Character, Charity and Fellowship!

The Florida Pond contributed $50 from its coffers, which was matched by $50 from Grand Nest.  Additionally $115 in gift cards and $75 in clothing was contributed by our members.  Job well done, Florida Pond!
