Grand Guardian of the Nest Linda Meik reports on the last meeting of the Puddle held February 26, 2014:

As the Grand Guardian of the Nest, this past month, I flew to Sarasota to meet up with our Blue Goose family. The best part was being able to sit outside and enjoy an adult beverage with these great folks. In addition taking time to visit with the restaurant manager and express to him what our organization was about and how they can help us.

These great Ganders have stepped forward to take on the leadership roles of the Flamingo Puddle. Standing in the back on the left hand side is Ms. Stephanie Horne. She is going to take on the role of the First Toad (Supervisor of the Flock). She will be assisting Ms. Gail Krinsky (next to her on the right hand side in the back), the Loyal Gander. Gail has been doing an outstanding job of keeping in touch by calling each member and reaching out to them over the past year. She has been an outstanding recruiter and as David says a dynamic sales lady with a smile. Front row is Linda Meik, Grand Guardian (Texas Pond Wielder). Next to her on the right is David Thompson, who is taking on the role of “The Croaker” (Custodian of the Goslings).

In the course of the evening, lots of ideas were tossed around for how to make the meetings fun and dynamic. There were lots of ideas on how to increase the activities for charity, education and fellowship.

The Puddle would still like one more person to step up and fill the role of Chief Polliwog (Guardian of the Puddle). Anyone interested, please get in touch with Gail Krinsky.

Great things are about to spring forth from the Flamingo Puddle.  Please note they have changed the meeting date to the second Thursday and moved the meeting back to Polo Grill & Bar in Lakewood Ranch.
